The route follows shepherds' tracks along the river: dirt stretches, low fords (the guide always crosses first), climbs with views over the gorges. It's not extreme technical terrain, but requires quad confidence: if it's your first time, do the lagoon tour first.

The river swim stop is the reward: fresh, cool water, white gravel, total silence. On the way back you often have lunch at a valley farm (€12-15, optional): lamb, cheese and mountain honey.

Can it be done as a relaxed day from Vlorë?

Yes: 09:00 departure, 15:00-16:00 return with lunch. You're on the beach by evening.
